An exchange table is optional but highly recommended for batch production. If you want to improve production efficiency for large orders, we recommend that you choose it.
Without an exchange table, there will be longer downtime in the operation process, which will affect the overall production efficiency.
If you have an exchange table, you can perform cutting on table A while preparing for loading and unloading on table B. The two tables can alternate, thereby reducing loading and unloading time and improving equipment utilization.
The floor space occupied by the sheet laser cutting machine depends on the model of the equipment, the working area, and whether an automated system is configured.
For example:
1530F Entry Level Fiber Laser Cutting Machine(with a working area of 1515×3030mm): 20 – 40 square meters are required.
1530Q (fully enclosed): 30 – 60 square meters are needed.
Models with a large working area and above: 50 – 100 square meters or more are required.
If an automatic loading and unloading system or production line is configured, an additional 20 – 50 square meters of space should be reserved for loading and unloading as well as material storage.
Usually, there are three types of gases: air, oxygen and nitrogen. Oxygen cutting is commonly used for carbon steel to improve efficiency. The prices of air and oxygen cutting are lower, but the cut edges will turn black and oxidize. If there is a requirement for the aesthetic appearance of the cutting edge, we recommend using nitrogen instead. You don’t need to worry about the cutting quality of our sheet metal laser cutting machines. Most of them are carried out using nitrogen gas cutting. The cut edges are clean and free of oxidation, requiring no further processing. It is suitable for various metal materials such as stainless steel, galvanized sheet, aluminum sheet, copper/brass, etc.
